Hound Dog Breeds

Hound Dog Breeds were bred to aid in the chase of game. The breed has Sight hounds, Scent and Spitz hounds. Sight hounds are able to run very fast (think Grey hound), scent hounds have an obvious talent and Spitz hounds are know for their pricked ears, curled tail and ruff around the neck.

Hounds are known for great stamina and range in size. They are also known for baying – a unique sound that you will certainly hear often if own one. It is akin to a howl.
